Random Wikipedia Link of the Night: Fumihiko Tachiki

Well, Baby Birds, this is a section that I’ll hardly ever do called Random Wikipedia Link of the Night – I need to think up a more clever title – and I’ll be linking to a random article on Wikipedia here, because that’s just the kind of thing we do for our readers. For the people who are fans of voice acting in the audience, boy do we have a treat for you!

The link of the night is…Fumihiko Tachiki, who “a Japanese voice actor and narrator.”

Here’s an excerpt, Baby Birds:

“Formerly a blues singer and known for his low voice, Tachiki is best known as the narrator for the pre-fight movies for Pride Fighting Championships and currently for Dream (Japanese broadcasts only). In 2003, he and Toshiyuki Morikawa formed the band “2HEARTS”, one of their works being the opening theme of Blue Seed (under the name “Takada Band”). As part of the band “2HEARTS” with Morikawa, one of their songs was featured as an ending theme for the video game “Dynasty Warriors 4: Empires“”

NOW YOU KNOW MORE ABOUT THE GUILDHALL SCHOOL OF MUSIC AND DRAMA, BABY BIRDS!

That’s actually pretty much the whole article, which is amazing given that the next section is dedicated entirely to the various roles he’s had. They are extensive – just about every type of project you can imagine someone being involved in, he’s done. I’d never heard of this guy, but I’m definitely familiar with a lot of his projects.
